That day is now!

It's once again the Thursdays, which means if you have some stories, I would like them. Just a couple, you know. One or two, or six or whatever. You know, some awesome fiction to read over the weekend. If you're in need of your weekly dose of "OGSTORIES!" check out the blurbs on these fine stories.

The other night I was pointed, via Twitter, to the short story "Selkie Stories are for Losers". I can't say I really grok this story, though I enjoyed it. There was a conversation going on about MFAs and writing which is (probably) clearly someone's MFA work, and one of the things noted was "Intense poetic flurry followed by unconvincing grab at ambiguity". I'm still not sure what this means, but the aforementioned story was pointed to as having this thing happen twice in it. That doesn't ruin it, and the story was actually recommended by the people in the conversation. Though I read it, I still have zero idea what that means and it feels like the sort of thing an editor ought to know, right? I like the way this story feels, though, and it was an enjoyable read. If anyone reads this and groks what that bit meant, do let me know where it happens. I'll be eternally grateful.

In other news, we're on schedule ritenao. Let's see if I can keep that going. Woohoo yeah!
